Why does Regina Brett write?

Today I’m going to give some reasons why Regina Brett writes what she writes (e.g., in her books). I think Regina’s reasons can also become your reasons for writing a book, blog post, or article.

In her book “Mów własnym głosem” (in Polish) we find the following reasons why she writes (here are some of them):

  1. to glorify God and feed His sheep with the word;
  2. to speak for those whose voice has been taken away;
  3. to make readers laugh and improve their homor;
  4. to comfort the inconsolable and distress the too peaceful;
  5. to make people aware that they are not alone;
  6. to inspire;
  7. to challenge;
  8. to wipe away tears.

Some of these reasons are also true when it comes to my writing at daretolive.blog. I love helping people, and I also help by writing about life, about values, about feeling happy, about the meaning of life, about the development of us humans.

None of us knows how long we will live, so it is worth living each day as if it were our last. And why do you write what you write? Ask yourself this question and answer it.

Ps. Please pray for my health if you want to help me to keep writing this blog. I have been experiencing quite a bit of health issues lately that are making it difficult for me to function normally. Thank you in advance for any prayer. God bless you all, my readers!
