Načela in nasveti, ki vplivajo na vaše rezultate (od točke 17 do 20; v e-knjigi je 40 točk)

  1. Use the principle: “Decide, start, finish”.

This principle works, because if, for example, you decide that you will pass an exam, you start to prepare for it and you study seriously, you will consequently succeed in getting a very good grade on the exam.

  1. Uporabite načelo: “Odločite se, začnite, končajte”.

To načelo deluje, saj če se na primer odločite, da boste opravili izpit, se nanj začnete pripravljati in se resno učite, vam bo posledično uspelo na izpitu dobiti zelo dobro oceno.

18. Reject limiting beliefs (e.g., “It can’t be done.” or “Everybody lies.”) and “build” into your mindset supportive beliefs (e.g., “I know who I am and where I am going.” or “I treat problems as challenges.”).

Many beliefs limit us (I mean limiting ones) because they are not true, and we believe them to be true and act according to those beliefs. We are fooled by false beliefs. In contrast, the supportive beliefs “built into” our mindset push us forward if we are willing to believe them. You choose which beliefs you believe. If you accept limiting beliefs, where will they take you?

  1. Zavrnite omejujoča prepričanja (npr. “Ne da se narediti.” ali “Vsi lažejo.”) in v svojo miselnost “vgradite” podporna prepričanja (npr. “Vem, kdo sem in kam grem.” ali “Težave obravnavam kot izzive.”).

Mnoga prepričanja nas omejujejo (mislim na omejujoča), ker niso resnična, mi pa verjamemo, da so resnična, in delujemo v skladu s temi prepričanji. Lažna prepričanja nas zavedejo. Nasprotno pa nas podporna prepričanja, “vgrajena” v našo miselnost, potiskajo naprej, če smo jim pripravljeni verjeti. Sami izberete, katerim prepričanjem boste verjeli. Če sprejmete omejujoča prepričanja, kam vas bodo pripeljala?

19. Make use of the opportunities you see.

Try to see the opportunities that come your way; opportunities may include getting an education, making friends with the right people, a new job, a new opportunity to get paid for the products you create, etc. It will not always be obvious to you which opportunity to choose and which to reject (the so-called ‘life philosophy’ I have already mentioned can be helpful in these choices, see point 16.); sometimes you have to take risks, if something does not work out, you have to look for more opportunities.

  1. Izkoristite priložnosti, ki jih vidite.

Poskusite videti priložnosti, ki se vam ponujajo; priložnosti so lahko pridobivanje izobrazbe, sklepanje prijateljstev s pravimi ljudmi, nova zaposlitev, nova priložnost za plačilo za izdelke, ki jih ustvarjate, itd. Ne bo vam vedno jasno, katero priložnost izbrati in katero zavrniti (pri teh odločitvah vam je lahko v pomoč tako imenovana “življenjska filozofija”, ki sem jo že omenil, glejte točko 16.); včasih morate tvegati, če se kaj ne izide, morate poiskati nove priložnosti.

20. Avoid anything that could be a threat to achieving your goals.

Avoid: negative thinking people, too much coffee (and other drugs), short sleep, addictions of any kind, temptation to achieve ambitious goals in a short time (although sometimes you may set yourself an ambitious goal that you will achieve something spectacular in a short time), dishonesty, lying, jealousy, envy, etc.

  1. Izogibajte se vsemu, kar bi lahko ogrozilo doseganje vaših ciljev.

Izogibajte se: negativno mislečim ljudem, preveliki količini kave (in drugih drog), kratkemu spancu, kakršnim koli odvisnostim, skušnjavi, da bi v kratkem času dosegli ambiciozne cilje (čeprav si včasih lahko zastavite ambiciozen cilj, da boste v kratkem času dosegli nekaj spektakularnega), nepoštenosti, lažem, ljubosumju, zavisti itd.
