Dos ideas: 1. Definir su propia misión y propósito y 2. Golpe o masilla: una lista de control.

Let me start with point 1. The full version of this idea (taken from some book) is: “Identify your own mission and purpose to which you want to dedicate your life.”
I will comment on this idea with a remark related to my current stage of life: my current mission and purpose is to share my thoughts on anything that has to do with personal development (broadly defined).
Permítanme empezar por el punto 1. La versión completa de esta idea (extraída de algún libro) es: “Identifica tu propia misión y el propósito al que quieres dedicar tu vida”.
Voy a comentar esta idea con un comentario relacionado con mi etapa actual de la vida: mi misión y propósito actual es compartir mis pensamientos sobre cualquier cosa que tenga que ver con el desarrollo personal (ampliamente definido).
I hope that the ideas I present on this blog (and my other blogs) are interesting and provide a stimulus to reflect on the lives of readers. I write spontaneously, working on blogs does not tire me at all, it is just a pleasure.
Espero que las ideas que expongo en este blog (y en mis otros blogs) sean interesantes y den un impulso a la reflexión en la vida de los lectores. Escribo de forma espontánea, trabajar en blogs no me cansa en absoluto, es puro placer.
Time for the second point of this post. I once read a book by Lori Greiner entitled “Invent It, Sell It, Bank It!: Make Your Million-Dollar Idea into a Reality” (I read it in Polish, so the quotes come from the Polish version of the book). In it, the author gave a checklist which she called “Hit or Putty”. Anyone who wants to create a product (or service) can use this checklist to check whether the product being designed has a chance of success.
Ha llegado el momento del segundo punto de este post. Una vez leí un libro de Lori Greiner titulado “Invent It, Sell It, Bank It!: Make Your Million-Dollar Idea into a Reality” (lo leí en polaco, así que las citas provienen de la versión polaca del libro). En él, la autora daba una lista de comprobación a la que llamaba “Acierto o Masilla”. Cualquiera que quiera crear un producto (o servicio) puede utilizar esta lista de comprobación para ver si el producto que está diseñando tiene posibilidades de éxito.
Here is that list:
“Hit or putty: a checklist.
(…) Your product can be a hit:
- is functional
- solves a problem
- it is unique
- people want or need it
- you can demonstrate it
- you can sell it at a reasonable price in relation to its value
- convinces the mass customer
- does not have many rivals
- it is a consumer good
- you can present it in a few short sentences
- you have a patent or patents on it.”
Esta es la lista:
“Golpe o masilla: una lista de comprobación.
(…) Su producto podría ser un éxito:
- es funcional
- resuelve un problema
- es único
- la gente lo quiere o lo necesita
- puedes demostrarlo
- puede venderlo a un precio razonable en relación con su valor
- convence al cliente masivo
- no tiene muchos rivales
- es un bien de consumo
- se puede presentar en unas pocas frases cortas
- tiene una o varias patentes”.
L. Greiner says that if your product meets the above criteria – at least eight of them – then you have a chance at sales success. Maybe you have the talent to create a product or service? If you don’t try, you’ll never know. Maybe you should give yourself a chance to design (create) a product (service) that will take off and bring you an income that will pleasantly surprise you.
L. Greiner afirma que si su producto cumple los criterios mencionados -al menos ocho de ellos-, tiene posibilidades de éxito en las ventas. ¿Quizás tengas talento para crear un producto o servicio? Si no lo intentas, nunca lo sabrás. Tal vez deberías darte la oportunidad de diseñar (crear) un producto (servicio) que despegue y te aporte unos ingresos que te sorprendan gratamente.
