Svoboda je v tobě (P. Cyprián Moryc, OFM)

I am convinced that freedom is hidden in each of us. We will be free when we allow ourselves to be free. We can be free ‘from’ something (e.g. addictions) or ‘to’ something (e.g. we can freely choose our career path). We are made for freedom.
O. Cyprian Moryc, OFM, wrote a book called ‘Wolność jest w tobie’ (in English it would have the title ‘Freedom is within you’). I read this book a few months ago and today I want to share some quotes from this book.
Jsem přesvědčen, že svoboda je ukryta v každém z nás. Budeme svobodní, když si to dovolíme. Můžeme být svobodní “od” něčeho (např. od závislostí) nebo “k” něčemu (např. můžeme si svobodně zvolit svou profesní dráhu). Jsme stvořeni pro svobodu.
O. Cyprián Moryc OFM napsal knihu s názvem “Wolność jest w tobie” (v češtině by se jmenovala “Svoboda je v tobě”). Tuto knihu jsem přečetl před několika měsíci a dnes se chci podělit o několik citátů z knihy.
One extract from the book: (my translation from Polish): “While we live in an age of addiction, at the same time we are not deprived of the right to the surprising quiet miracles of freedom. Spectacular miracles also happen.” The present time is full of dangers, dangers for children, young people and adults. If we want to be free, God himself can and certainly does want us not to be slaves, we are children of God himself and HE created us to be free.
Think now if you are not threatened by some kinfd of “slavery”, do you really feel free, do you not become more free every year? When you are free then you will also be more joyful with the joy of a child of God.
Jeden úryvek z knihy: “Žijeme sice v době závislosti, ale zároveň nejsme zbaveni práva na překvapivé tiché zázraky svobody. Dějí se i velkolepé zázraky.” Současná doba je plná nebezpečí, nebezpečí pro děti, mládež i dospělé. Pokud chceme být svobodní, Bůh sám může a jistě chce, abychom nebyli otroky, jsme děti samotného Boha a on nás stvořil, abychom byli svobodní.
Zamyslete se, zda vás neohrožuje otroctví, zda se opravdu cítíte svobodní, zda se každým rokem nestáváte svobodnějšími? Když budete svobodní, budete také radostnější s radostí Božího dítěte.

Odvažte se žít. Je to TVŮJ život.
