Just this month, I am reading a book by Paweł Tkaczyk entitled 'Zakamarki marki' (published in Polish by Helion SA). The book is full of valuable content on branding, image building, etc. The subtitle encourages you to read it, it reads: "Things you might not have known, forgotten or overlooked when building your brand" (translation from Polish). In chapter one of the book, Pawel Tkaczyk answers the question that is the title of this post.
If you read my blog from time to time or on a regular basis then you can support my work and buy one of my books, the links to which I provide below. The content of these books could be the start of the changes you will make in your life. Give yourself a chance, dare to live, it's your life.
"Recent neuroscience research indicates that there are at least three types of emotional regulation systems (areas of the brain that work together to control and maintain our emotions). These systems help us to achieve our basic goals in life.
I believe that personal development is very important as it allows for a more interesting, fuller and happier life. Personal growth gives satisfaction. Just as a tree keeps growing, you can keep growing. By developing you will realise your dreams, you will create action plans, revise those plans if necessary, evaluate your development, you will reflect on which areas of growth you care most about.
"We live in a world that constantly urges us to judge, classify and evaluate ourselves. We get messages from everywhere that we may not be good enough." In my opinion, the modern world wants to make us believe that only achievements, titles, certificates, exams, careers, big money, etc. count. We often succumb to this world and its delusions.
People have all sorts of problems. One way to make money is to help people solve them. You can give people what they need. For example, you can create an innovative course to learn a foreign language, you can write a novel that interests them. What I'm writing now is not just about problems, it's about human needs.
What your current life looks like depends mainly on you. External factors can be (and often are) beyond your control, but you should take responsibility for your life, for what it looks like.
"Fear of the future is seen as normal and natural part of being human, but if we pay close attention, we can see some scary, painful thoughts at the root of that fear. Without these stories, there is no fear, but if you believe those stories, you will scare yourself stiff!"
