A few thoughts on anxieties (from my third book entitled “A Cure for Anxiety”).

"By working on ourselves (with the help of a therapist or on our own) we are able to "work through" our anxieties little by little. Getting rid of them is freeing, rewarding and opens up new possibilities. When we are afraid, we do not dare to live the way we - in fact - want to live. Anxieties limit us, they want to enslave us and often succeed in doing so."

Introduction. What will you learn from this book? This book is divided into four chapters, each of which deals with a separate aspect of anxiety, worry and fear. In chapter one, I outline what anxiety, worry and fear are (among other things, I give their definitions). In chapter two, I describe the negative sides of living with anxieties. In chapter three, I give reasons for getting rid of most (or all) anxieties. In chapter four, I introduce ideas related to anxieties and describe how to do practical exercises to 'work through' anxieties in order to deal with them effectively."

"In this section of the book, I want to share what I fear, what my fears are. I fear (November 2022) only two things (situations or events): I fear the justice of God (who, after my death, will judge my thoughts, words and deeds committed during my earthly life) and the sudden death of my beloved wife. Other than that, I am not afraid of anything or anyone. You may wonder: "How is this possible?"

What does Pawel Tkaczyk write about the company blog?

"Blog readers are still the elite. But a very influential elite. Studies show that these people are often opinion leaders. If you want your message to break through to the general consciousness, it makes sense to start by convincing blog readers specifically." P. Tkaczyk also writes that blogs are a great marketing tool, but require a lot of work and expertise."

“Meanwhile, how many of us would give much, perhaps even everything, to turn back time…” (Fr Jarosław Grabowski)

Time passes and during our lives we make better or worse choices that have consequences. Time cannot be turned back, we can only live in the here and now. And it is right here and now that our lives are happening. Maybe we made mistakes in the past that we regret, maybe we didn't act with dignity with our values, maybe we were not ok to other people, maybe we were blinded by work, by the money we earned or maybe by jealousy, maybe we didn't work on ourselves, on our character - so many mistakes we could have made and often did.

What is psychology and why is it an important area of study?

I have just started reading Abraham P. Sperling's book "Psychology". I consider it as one of the most important books in my life. It contains a glossary in which the term 'psychology' is defined. Psychology is the science of individual behaviour and experience. It is useful to know why we behave in a certain way.
