La Madonna come via per Gesù Cristo

I am currently reading the book ‘A Treatise on True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary’. The author is Saint Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort. This treatise inspires me to dedicate my life completely to Mary, my best Mother. I will give in this post some quotations from this treatise to encourage you, dear reader, to read this important book.
Sto leggendo il libro “Trattato della vera devozione alla Beata Vergine Maria”. L’autore è san Luigi Maria Grignon de Montfort. Questo trattato mi ispira a dedicare la mia vita completamente a Maria, la mia migliore Madre. In questo post riporterò alcune citazioni di questo trattato per incoraggiare te, caro lettore, a leggere questo importante libro.
Quote one: “As Jesus is by nature and by redemption the King of heaven and earth, so Mary is by grace the Queen. The Kingdom of Jesus Christ exists mainly in the heart or interior of man, according to the words of Scripture: “The Kingdom of God is within you”; therefore, the Kingdom of the Blessed Virgin develops mainly in the interior of man, (…)”.
Prima citazione: “Come Gesù è per natura e per redenzione il Re del cielo e della terra, così Maria è per grazia la Regina”. Il Regno di Gesù Cristo esiste principalmente nel cuore o nell’interno dell’uomo, secondo le parole della Scrittura: “Il Regno di Dio è dentro di voi”; pertanto, il Regno della Beata Vergine si sviluppa principalmente nell’interno dell’uomo, (…)”.
Quote two: “If, therefore, we preach perfect devotion to the Blessed Virgin, it is only in order to make our devotion to Jesus Christ more thorough and perfect, and to give an easy and sure means of finding Christ.”
Seconda citazione: “Se, dunque, predichiamo la perfetta devozione alla Beata Vergine, è solo per rendere più completa e perfetta la nostra devozione a Gesù Cristo, e per dare un mezzo facile e sicuro per trovare Cristo”.
Our Lady wants to be our Mother, she wants to obtain for us from Jesus the graces we need. Let us trust in Her, the one through whom Jesus came to people.
La Madonna vuole essere nostra Madre, vuole ottenerci da Gesù le grazie di cui abbiamo bisogno. Confidiamo in Lei, colei attraverso la quale Gesù è venuto agli uomini.
