Dare to live, dare to entrust your life to the Lord God. Trust in the Lord with your heart, do not fear God, He loves you with an everlasting love.
It’s probably been a few months since I wrote on dartolive.blog, my blog. But today is the day I’m writing something from my heart. About my Lord, about God, because the proclamation of God is a relevant and necessary thing in today’s world. The inspiration for this post comes from a book I am reading, ‘Live in The Freedom of Spirit’, by Salvatore Martinzez.
The original title of this book is ‘Sospinti dallo Spirito. Ripartiamo dal Cenacolo’. The author, Salvatore Martinez is the first lay national coordinator of the Renewal in the Holy Spirit and consultant to the Pontifical Council for the Laity.
The author writes, among other things: ‘There is a conspicuous lack of strong ideas in our time. The world is riddled with lies. People are increasingly attracted to salvation proposals that are not based on the Gospel, but on economic, sociological or psychological prescriptions. (…) The time has come for us to open wide the doors of the Holy Spirit and, strengthened by the power of His wisdom, to give an answer to this thoughtless world which seems to be falling into the abyss of madness, of unfaithfulness to God.’
(translated from the Polish)
Is the world going nowhere? Will you trust the God who has salvation for you? Will you trust God as the ONE who best knows your true needs and desires? Open the door to the Holy Spirit, may HE give you peace, may HE guide you. By opening to the Holy Spirit your life will become simpler, you will know what is really important. What is everything compared to the only and most important goal of our lives: eternal heaven?
