Dare to believe in God: Keep Calm and Ora et Labora

I will devote today’s entire post to reflections related to ‘Keep Calm and Ora et Labora.’ (Keep Calm and Pray and Work).

I have this quote on my fridge in the kitchen and see it often. It makes me realise how important it is to be peaceful in life, and beyond that, how important it is to pray and work (Ora et Labora – in Latin).
Staying calm may not be easy at times, but for a person who is growing, it is not impossible. Every year we become calmer – that’s how it is in my life, I don’t worry about what I have no control over.

And to you, my reader, I recommend remaining calm regardless of the situation you are experiencing. Try to remain calm, you will see how your life will become easier. Depending on your character and temperament, this task – that of remaining calm – may be easier or more difficult, but progress in this work on yourself is possible for everyone.

And now it is time for point two of this blog post – Ora et Labora. I have found out in my life (and I am now 52 years old) how important it is to combine two methods/activities: prayer and work. I have been praying since my early childhood and working since my early teens. And I don’t regret to this day combining these two activities – I pray for God’s protection over me and God’s blessing on my endeavours. I pray and I work: and the results come. I believe that God wants us to commend our requests to him, but also to thank him for HIS Providence.

Ora et Labora – pray and work – this is the key to your success.

Dare to live and dare to believe … in God.

God bless you all.
