“A change of perspective allows us to separate the culprit from his fault” (on forgiveness, inspired by Jim McManus CSsR)

Man is by nature sinful, prone to sin. The evil we do will always remain evil. However, the sinner should not be condemned because he can repent.

“In my interior life I look with one eye into the abyss of my misery and wickedness, which I am, and with the other eye I look into the abyss of Your mercy, O God.”(Saint M. Faustina Kowalska)

We are weak and prone to sin, we fall all the time, but we must not give in to sadness and discouragement. God is greater than our sin and our weakness, let us ask Him for His power and His mercy on us. The Lord God gives us power when we ask for it, and in the Holy Sacraments there is our help from God. Through the sacrament of penance we can be reconciled to Him and reconciled to the Church.
