The Pharisee came to boast before God what a good man he was, the tax collector beat his breast and asked God for mercy. Which attitude should we imitate? Jesus himself answers this question for us: we are to imitate the tax collector, to be humble.

Farizeus se přišel před Boha pochlubit, jaký je dobrý člověk, celník se bil v prsa a prosil Boha o milost. Který postoj bychom měli napodobovat? Na tuto otázku nám odpovídá sám Ježíš: máme napodobovat celníka, být pokorní.

O Jesus, meek and humble, make my heart according to your heart.

Ježíši, tichý a pokorný, učiň mé srdce podle svého srdce.
